netWORKS is a program for young professionals interested in elevating their job search by attending career-networking events around Peel.

Program Description

Funded by United Way Greater Toronto, the netWORKS program aims to support youth job seekers (18-29 years old) in making professional connections with mentors already in the workforce. Through facilitated networking opportunities youth will get a chance to meet with mentors and get real-life advice/insight to various career-specific questions they might have.

Features

Along with training on how to network, there are 3 program components that youth can take part in…

  • Group networking (large and small events)
  • 1:1 networking
  • 1:1 mentoring

Who is this for?

  • 18-29 year old job seekers
  • youth not in or enrolled in school
  • youth not working (can be underemployed or working less than 20 hrs/wk)
